Mr. Fraser is President and Chief Executive Officer of Killam. He has held this position since the inception of the Corporation in May 2000. Mr. Fraser has worked in the real estate industry for 24 years. Mr. Fraser holds a Masters of Business Administration from St. Mary's University, a Masters of Urban and Rural Planning and a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. Mr. Fraser is a member of the Board of Directors of Redishred Capital Corp. (TSX-V - KUT) and a member of the board Governors of St. Mary's University.
Mr. Richardson is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Killam, having held the position since 2000. He is also President of Compass Commercial Realty, a commercial management company based in Halifax. Mr. Richardson has worked in real estate for 26 years. Mr. Richardson holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and is a chartered accountant. In 2006, Mr. Richardson was awarded the Fellow Chartered Accountant designation by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia. Currently, Mr. Richardson is Chair of the YMCA of Greater Halifax/Dartmouth and the IWK Health Centre.
Ruth Buckle-McIntosh joined Killam Properties in May 2003. She is Vice President of Property Management and is responsible for the operations of Killam's 11,038 unit apartment portfolio. Ruth has worked in property management for 26 years. Prior to joining Killam, Ruth held the position of Vice President of Property Management with O&Y Enterprise for 13 years.
Erin Cleveland joined Killam in May 2012. Erin has over 8 years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to joining Killam, Erin spent 7 years with Ernst & Young in their audit and advisory practice serving public and private entities and most recently held the position of Senior Manager of Financial Reporting at Brigus Gold. Erin holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University and is a Chartered Accountant.
Pamela Crowell joined Killam Properties in December 2005 as Vice President, Property Management Manufactured Home Communities. Pamela has worked in commercial real estate for 27 years. Prior to joining Killam, Pamela was Vice President, Real Estate Operations at a real estate development and management company based in Halifax, where she worked for 12 years. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Acadia University, is a salesperson licensed through the NS Real Estate Commission and was recently appointed to the Board of Directors of the NS Real Estate Appraisers Association.
Jeremy Jackson joined Killam Properties in November 2005 as Vice President, Marketing and Sales. Jeremy has over 25 years of sales and market management experience. Prior to joining Killam, Jeremy had spent 10 years with Aliant Telecom in various managerial positions. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Francis Xavier University and an MBA from St. Mary's University. JJ is the current President of the Investment Property Owners Association of Nova Scotia (IPOANS), sits on the board of directors for Shelter Nova Scotia, as well as various regional and national homelessness and affordable housing committees. JJ is also the President of Basketball Nova Scotia, Past Club President and a current coach for the West End Steelers Youth Basketball Club in Halifax.
Michael McLean has been working with Killam since its inception and has overseen the acquisition of the majority of Killam's apartments and MHCs throughout the country. More recently, Mr. McLean has managed the development of Killam's MHC expansions in various locations in Nova Scotia and Ontario and the current development of several new apartment buildings including two LEED designated buildings in Halifax and Fredericton. Prior to working at Killam, Michael held technology consulting positions with a P-3 schools consortium and other local and national real estate firms. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from Dalhousie University and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Dalhousie University (formerly Technical University of Nova Scotia).
Dale Noseworthy joined Killam in May 2006. Dale has 18 years of accounting and finance experience. Prior to joining Killam Dale worked for two years as a research analyst at Beacon Securities and for seven years in various accounting and finance roles at Emera Inc. Dale has a Bachelor of Commerce from Mount Allison University and is a Chartered Accountant and CFA charter holder.
